M: Tell us your Midwest Story.
K: I started shopping at Midwest Vintage since I was a teenager. Slowly I became a friend of Midwest. For me every trip down to Midwest Vintage is a treasure hunt. Sometimes I would find something great but it doesn’t fit me, other times I would encounter a piece by accident that I know I would treasure for a life time.

M: How would you describe your personal style?
K: You can see from what I wear. I’m very into american vintage style, typically cowboy style.
M: Who is your style icon?
K: I used to watch a lot of western movies and found myself obsessed with movie stars like Clint Eastwood. But I also admire people who can pull off simple style and let their personality show through. It is important to make yourself feel comfortable in your own clothes, or else it’s all pointless.

M: What are the three vintage items you own that you can’t live without?
K: Cowboy boots, a pair of authentic boot cut jeans, and also my cowboy neck tie. It’s my must have piece for dress up occasions. If I have an important event to attend I would show up in cowboy items from head to toe to show my respect. That’s just me.
M: What are you wearing today?
K: A vintage cowboy shirt, a pair of cowboy boots I got from Midwest Vintage, my handmade leather accessories and a pair boot cut jeans.
